Kidney Mutiny 2011
It’s been a rough week here. I have been sick with a kidney infection. I have never in my life been this sick. Two trips to the ER and a healthy dose of third generation antibiotics and I’m finally on the mend. I am doing my best to recover and I’m told it will be a while before I’m back to 100%. This has prompted me to make a difficult business decision. I will not be able to attend Stitches West in February. I will instead be posting work that was ear marked for that show, and other pots as I’m able to be in the studio, in a Valentine’s Day update. Stay tuned. I’ll post pics of some special pots here in the coming weeks.
Do me a favor, go do something nice for your kidneys today.
I am SO sorry and so GLAD that you are on the mend. I lost
a kidney to a rare type tumor (they thought it was cancer so I am
thankful) several years ago. So I take good care of the one I have.
YOU TOO.
Jennie, feel better!
i suffered a full blown kidney infection in the summer of
’96 i thought i was going to die i had a fever of 104 in the middle
of august and i was so so so sick i feel your pain and i hope you
will feel more on the mend soon! xoxoxox
Yikes, I have heard that is extremely painful. I hope you
are on the mend and can take care of yourself while also being a
mom and small business. Get well!
I am so sorry that you’ve been so sick! I hope you are back
to 100% soon. Take care!
Get well soon!
Just happened by–sorry to hear you’ve been sick. Go healing of the kidneys! Keep it up!!!
It is unfortunate the Stitches West had to drop. I hope Valentine’s Day makes up for it–with out the expenses.
Sorry to read about your kidney infection.
Best wishes to you for a speedy recovery!
Oh Jennie, I am so sorry you had problems with the kidneys. I am sure you are doing better now! I was disappointed to see that you weren’t coming to Stitches West, but you made the right decision to take care of yourself!! I’ll see you at Sock Summit instead.
And place an order in between.
Take care of yourself.
